THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM MOVIE REVIEW.

The Bourne Ultimatum is a great movie. As is its predecessors The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy. The final installment is faster and much more furious than the others. It took director Paul green grass six weeks to edit the final chase scene and it took Matt Damon 600 packs of cigarettes to finish the movie. I am an editor of tv and films. I love fast frenetic NYPD style editing with jump cuts and zooms and pans. This was almost too much for me . This movie is a non-stop chase from start to finish with so many explosions and punches and neck cracks that I had a headache by the end. It's much more manageable on DVD especially if you pause it. A great performance by Damon and the hand to hand fist fight in the Morroccan apartment is awesome.
Some of my favorite scens in movies come from these films. Another one is when in the first film Damon goes after the snipe in the woods and kills him in the field. Buy the trilogy on DVD.
